Αγγλική Ορολογία για Παιδαγωγικές και Ανθρωπιστικές Επιστήμες

Η συγγραφή του παρόντος βιβλίου προέκυψε από τη διαπίστωση του συγγραφέα ότι στις παιδαγωγικές και ανθρωπιστικές επιστήμες υπάρχει ανάγκη δημιουργίας ενός γλωσσικού εργαλείου-βοηθήματος, το οποίο να λειτουργεί όχι μόνο ως μία άλλη απλή παράθεση αγγλικής ορολογίας, αλλά να είναι χρηστικό στον εκπαιδευτικό και στον σπουδαστή των επιστημών αυτών. Με βάση αυτή τη διαπίστωση, ετοιμάσθηκε το βιβλίο μας και τίθεται στη διάθεση των σπουδαστών και των εκπαιδευτικών ως χρήσιμη μεθοδολογία διδασκαλίας της παιδαγωγικής αγγλικής ορολογίας, η οποία είναι το αποτέλεσμα επίπονης και πολυετούς διδασκαλίας αυτού του γνωστικού αντικειμένου στις πανεπιστημιακές αίθουσες.

Πρόκειται για την αξιοποίηση της ως άνω ορολογίας, μέσω ενός έμπειρου συνδυασμού γλωσσικών ασκήσεων και οπτικοακουστικών δραστηριοτήτων, με τις οποίες φιλοδοξία μας είναι να προσφέρουμε στον αναγνώστη όχι μόνον μία απλή γνώση της ορολογίας, αλλά την εμβάθυνση σε μία πλειάδα παιδαγωγικών θεμάτων και ζητημάτων. Με άλλα λόγια είναι εμφανής η προσπάθεια του συγγραφέα να συνδυάσει τη διαδραστική εκμάθηση της παιδαγωγικής ορολογίας και ταυτόχρονα να συμβάλει στην εξοικείωση με σοβαρά και κρίσιμα παιδαγωγικά θέματα, μέσα από ένα πλούσιο αυθεντικό γραπτό και οπτικοακουστικό υλικό. Τέλος, με την αξιοποίηση διαφορετικών δεξιοτήτων (listening, writing, reading, guessing, speaking), το παρόν βιβλίο επιθυμεί να συμβάλει στην ουσιαστικότερη κατανόηση των παιδαγωγικών και ανθρωπιστικών επιστημών.
